Privacy Policy

The short version

Reading this site sets no cookies and tells nobody you were here, unless you say yes to the bar at the bottom of the page. Say yes and one advertising tag loads, and Meta learns you visited. Say no, or ignore it, and nothing loads. You can change your mind at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Submitting the contact form is different, and deliberately so. What you type goes to us and to the software we run inquiries in. That is described in full below.

Who we are

Armor Estimating LLC, Katy, Texas. You can reach us at info@armorestimating.com or 832-906-8687. We provide insurance supplement, estimating and recoverable depreciation services to contractors across the United States.

What we collect

Only what the contact form asks for, and only if you submit it:

• Your company name and your full name
• Your phone number and email address
• The types of work you do
• Roughly how many claims you handle a month
• Who handles your estimates today
• Whatever you write in the box about your biggest challenge
• How you heard about us
• Whether you ticked the optional marketing text message box

If you email or call us instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that email or on that call, for the same purposes.

What loads, and what does not

True of these pages as published on the date at the top:

• Nothing loads before you choose. Until you press Accept, this site sets no cookies and contacts no other company. Reading it tells nobody you were here.
• One tag, only if you accept it: the Meta pixel. Described in the next section.
• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no session recording, no heatmaps.
• No third-party fonts, maps, videos or embeds. Everything else on the page is served from this site.
• No bought advertising profiles. We do not build them and we do not buy them.

Like every website, the server hosting this one keeps technical records of the requests it receives, which can include an IP address, a timestamp and which page was asked for. Those exist to keep the site running and secure. They are not used to identify you and not combined with anything else.

Advertising and conversion tracking

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and we use the Meta pixel to tell which of them actually bring people here. It is the only tracking tag on this site.

It does not load unless you accept it. The first time you visit, a bar appears at the bottom of the page. Reject sits next to Accept, the same size, and refusing takes one press rather than a trip through a settings menu. Whichever you pick is remembered, and the Cookie settings link in the footer lets you change it later. Nothing on this site needs the pixel in order to work.

If you do accept, the pixel sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta that you visited, which pages you looked at, and whether you sent the contact form. Meta may match that to an account you hold with them. What comes back to us is counts: how many people an ad brought, and how many of them inquired.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a refusal and never ask.

Why we hold it and what we do with it

To reply to you, to work out whether we are a good fit for each other, and if we go ahead, to run your files. That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Where a submitted form goes

When you press the button on the contact form, what you typed is sent from your browser to Go High Level (LeadConnector), the customer relationship platform we run inquiries in. It is stored on their systems as well as reaching us. They process it on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

This happens only when you submit the form. Reading the page sends nothing anywhere. Beyond that provider, your information is shared only where we are legally required to share it, and it is never sold or rented.

Text messages

Sending the form means we may contact you about your inquiry by phone, email and text. That is what you are asking us to do. Marketing texts are separate and optional: there is one tick box for them, it is off by default, and you are never required to agree to marketing in order to work with us.

• Service messages are about your files and your account.
• Marketing messages are offers, discounts and service updates.

Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Your mobile information is not sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Inquiriesb that do not become work are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of a conversation and then deleted on request. Records connected to work we have actually done are kept for as long as we need them for the claim, our accounts and our legal obligations. Ask us to delete something and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

Write to info@armorestimating.com and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will not charge you and we will not treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live you may have specific statutory rights over your personal information, and we will honor them.

Children

This is a service for building contractors. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will be flagged on the page itself.
